Great day to hike Pinnacle Peak! Went with my 8 year old nephew and one of my brothers. The park ranger told us that today was the second busiest day in the parks history. The record is 2,000 visitors and she told us that today will be very close to that record. Wow! FYI - a park ranger is at the end of the trail one hour before closing time. He/She hikes back to the trailhead. You must turn around when you reach this ranger. This info is also posted on the board near the restrooms.
