Late Night Thunderstorm

Late night thunderstorm in Scottsdale, AZ on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:40 PM MST.

National Weather Service: At 11:27 PM MST NWS Meteorologists detected a strong thunderstorm pulsing up near Downtown Phoenix. This storm was nearly stationary with additional storm development towards Laveen and South Phoenix. Wind gusts up to 40 to 45 mph are expected with these storms along with heavy rain. Locations impacted include: Arizona State Fairgrounds, Downtown Phoenix, South Phoenix and Laveen.
