Monsoon storm in Scottsdale, Arizona on July 03, 2021 at 6:46 PM MST.

The National Weather Service in Phoenix issued a Flash Flood Warning for Maricopa County in south central Arizona Until 1015 PM MST. At 610 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City West, Wittmann, Sun City, Circle City, Beardsley, Surprise Stadium and Vistancia.

615 PM: Storms rapidly exploding over parts of the Phoenix metro. Look for lightning and localized heavy rain through 8pm, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, Arizona.
